There is a billboard at the entrance of the Rietveld Academie's old building. It's open for proposals that, once approved, will be printed by Kees, who runs the school's silkscreen workshop.
For this, I made a rough, heavy line raster out of two portraits, then mixed up the two faces during the printing process, blocking different areas of the screen on every print. The characters chosen are Juan José Moreno Cuenca and his brother Tonet, two delinquent idols from my childhood, whose faces (seen on the picture in the middle) mix and blend to become a new, six–member gang.

Silkscreen (edition of ten), 84 × 118 cm each. Printed with Kees Maas
