Praneet approached me to give a coherent order to his image archive, and to find a way to present this archive as a work itself, as well as to be exhibited besides his pieces at shows and fairs.
I designed four badges consisting of 30 images each, combining his cutouts, drawings and own photographs with the images from the media that he uses as starting points for his artwork.
Each image was rearranged from scratch onto different layouts to fit on any standard portrait format. They were then titled and filed.
Praneet Soi's image archive has been shown at Van Abbemuseum, TENT, Gallery Martin van Zomeren in The Netherlands, Vadehra Art Gallery and Project88 in India, and The Armory Show in New York, among others.
